Prior to founding Three Capital Management, Mr. Stolldorf worked with Chesapeake Energy. As a member of the Mergers & Acquisition team, he worked to ensure synergistic acquisitions translated into value for Chesapeake Energy. The company purchased energy assets throughout Canada and the United States. Mr. Stolldorf made a difficult personal decision to leave his position to assist running the family businesses: commercial transportation, agriculture commodities, and investments after his father suddenly passed away.

Prior to the founding of Three Capital Management, Mr. Stolldorf worked as a Financial Consultant with Merrill Lynchs' Private Client Group. The eight-person team managed portfolios for high net-worth private clients. Managing investment accounts for family limited partnerships, corporate executives, trusts, and qualified individuals. Our group assisted clients in exercising non-qualified stock options, worked with ML's New York derivatives team to construct zero-cost collars to hedge and monetize large concentrated single stock positions. In addition, the team worked with prominent regional attorneys and accountants when performing estate planning, such as CRTs. Customized wealth management strategies ranged from passive and active portfolio techniques.
